Patient Experience

First Visit Experience

Our professional team always help make your experience with us as positive and comfortable as possible. On your first visit you can expect the following once you arrive at Bligh Park Dental:

  1. As you arrive at reception our friendly staff will request you fill in a copy of the new patient form with details on your past medical and dental history. You can also download the new patient form here, complete it at your leisure to bring with you to your first appointment.
  2. Patients arriving early can relax in our modern waiting room with a variety of reading material, dental service information pages and toys for children.
  3. A member of our team will then show you into one of our modern, comfortable surgeries and you will be introduced to your experienced and friendly dentist. If you’re an anxious patient we have a system in place to reduce any anxiety you may feel.
  4. The dentist will conduct a comprehensive oral examination on both your teeth and gums and discuss the results with you. You can discuss any dental concerns you may have.
  5. Our dentist will provide you with an overview of the state of your oral health. If required, your dentist will also provide different treatment options and a treatment plan for you to consider. We aim to provide you with all the information to educate you on the problem and all the options available. This will give you a full understanding so you can make an informed decision on your oral care. Our aim is the best results for you.

Your Medical and Dental History

As a new patient we will request you fill out a medical and dental health form. For your convenience we have made this form available online so you can fill it out and it will be sent directly to us! Alternatively, you can download the form to fill in at home and email it back to use, or else simply bring it to your consultation. If you don't get a chance to do so, we will just request you take a few minutes before you appointment to complete the form.

All the information that you provide to us is used solely to ensure that we gain a complete understanding of your oral health to provide you with the best possible treatment. Any information is held in the strictest confidence.

You can download the form from here.

If you wish to email it back to us, send it to Suites 1 & 2, Bligh Park Medical & Professional Centre 48 Rifle Range Road Bligh Park, NSW 2756 or simply bring it to your consultation.

Health Funds

'At Bligh Park Dental we also accept health funds. If you’re part of one, simply bring your plastic swipe card or digital card and with our HICAPS machine we can process your requests in just a few moments while you wait. This saves you the paperwork and time, so all you have to pay at your appointment, is the difference.

Payment Options

For any payments you need to make with us we accept cash, credit cards, cheques and EFTPOS.

A Promise to You

At Bligh Park Dental we don’t make the decisions for you, we see it as our responsibility to provide you with all the relevant information so you have the final say.
